During the construction phase of the project, DesCor will provide all management and related services as necessary to adequately supervise, monitor and coordinate the work of all subcontractors. The focus of our project management team is to maximize subcontractor performance per contract documents and the client’s goals, anticipate and minimize or eliminate problems, promptly remedy issues, and minimize disruptions or delays. In order to achieve this, our team will establish, implement and maintain procedures to assure coordination and communication among all parties.
We view the Preconstruction Phase as arguably one of the most crucial phases in the overall life of a project. During this phase the “TEAM” develops many of the building systems and components which later drive the look, feel, and function of your new facility. With this in mind, we have made it our business (literally) to become experts in the processes of Preconstruction.
In addition to our General Contracting Services, DesCor has the ability to provide all Construction Management Services necessary to ensure project success, by either a “CM at risk” or “Agency CM” approach. Our team of professional’s act as an extension to the client’s staff to ensure the project is efficiently designed and constructed.

This award has been developed by the Division of Occupational Safety and Health to provide motivation and support to high-hazard companies that are working proactively with the Cal/OSHA Consultation Service to uphold high standards of workplace safety.
DesCor Builders proudly receives Cal/SHARP certification for their implementation and continued demonstration of high standards of workplace safety and health management. Cal/SHARP employer worksites are recognized as worksites expected to have a significantly lower risk for serious accidents than other employer’s worksites within the same industry. DesCor is extremely thankful to Cal/OSHA for acknowledging the efforts made and vows to continue our vigilance in safety excellence.
The California Voluntary Protection Program (Cal/VPP) is designed to recognize employers and their employees who have implemented safety and health programs that effectively prevent and control occupational hazards. These programs go beyond minimal Cal/OSHA standards and provide the best feasible protection at the site. Successful applicants approved for participation in Cal/VPP receive State and national recognition and are exempt from Cal/OSHA programmed inspections.
